Meteorological Department: Atmospheric Instability to Begin Saturday Evening

Al-Taj News – Weather forecaster at the Meteorological Department Issam Yacoub said that atmospheric instability will begin Saturday evening, noting a possibility of light showers during the late-night hours.

Yacoub added Friday that the chance of rainfall will weaken Sunday evening, explaining that the expected atmospheric instability is not uncommon.

On Saturday, temperatures will drop slightly to be around their average levels for this time of year. The weather will be moderate in most areas and hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low-level clouds appearing over the northern parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be moderate westerly, occasionally becoming active and stirring dust, particularly in the Badia areas.

On Sunday, temperatures will drop noticeably. The weather will be partly cloudy and moderate in most areas, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. There is a chance of showers in the morning in the northern parts of the Kingdom, with parts of the western central areas possibly experiencing thunder at times, particularly in the north. Winds will be moderate westerly, occasionally becoming active and stirring dust at times, especially in the Badia areas.

On Monday, temperatures will rise slightly. The weather will be moderate in most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low-level clouds appearing. Winds will be moderate westerly, occasionally becoming active.
